Rinascita. Justice League. Vol. 26: "Il bambino è il padre dell'uomo". Così recitava un celebre sonetto del poeta William Wordsworth, che sembra il sottotesto perfetto per il nuovo story-arc della Justice League, l'ultimo sceneggiato dal fumettista Bryan Hitch. I più potenti eroi della Terra hanno infatti incontrato i loro eredi, i figli del domani cresciuti in un futuro molto diverso da quello per cui hanno sempre lottato. Dalle loro cronache stanno apprendendo che, a causa delle loro scelte, nel futuro il valore della giustizia sarà un pallido ricordo, obliato dall'umanità e soppresso dalla tirannia della Sovrana. Anche le pagine di "Cyborg" ci mostrano un'umanità in declino, un ipotetico scenario molto realistico in cui gli uomini sono stati sostituiti dalle macchine, mentre nel penultimo capitolo delle avventure di "Terra-2" stiamo assistendo a una società apparentemente perfetta, dove le meraviglie non esistono più. Ancora una volta i concetti di flusso del tempo e di multiverso fungono da prisma per declinare al congiuntivo scenari possibili dove succedono cose impossibili. The most powerful heroes of the Earth have in fact met their heirs, the children of tomorrow brought up in a very different future from that for which they have always struggled. From their chronicles they are learning that, because of their choices, in the future the value of justice will be a pale memory, forgotten by humanity and suppressed by the tyranny of the sovereign. Even the pages of "Cyborg" show us a declining humanity, a hypothetical very realistic scenario in which men have been replaced by machines, while in the penultimate chapter of The Adventures of "Earth-2" We are witnessing a society apparently Perfect, where wonders no longer exist. Once again the concepts of time flow and Multiverse act as prism to decline in the conjunctive scenarios where impossible things happen.
